Introduction
We have 3 fully self contained accommodations which are stand alone buildings in a rural farm setting in the North East of Victoria. We are surrounded by 360 degree views of mountains and have about 1 km of a beautiful pristine river that borders the farm called the King River. We offer many walking/nature tracks, and several scenic picnic spots. We are a short drive to many of the King Valley wineries and cellar doors which have become known for their Italian varietals and cool climate wines. We are a short drive from Lake William Hovell which is great for kayaks and canoes. Our property features a private swimming hole on the King River which is a bonus in the cooler months and if fishing takes your fancy, well we are ideally located for that as well!
Our Guesthouse sleeps up to 10 in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house and offers great views of the surrounding hills. Power's Lookout can be seen from all over the farm and is accessible from the farm if you feel like a hike up to the infamous bushrangers haunt.
Facilities include a gas BBQ and the house has full kitchen and laundry facilities and all linen is provided.
Our Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 in a 4 bedroom, 2 separate bathroom house. Set on a half acre block with established garden and small fruit orchard, and only 100 metres from the King River. This one we call "Our Italian" as it has its own Bocce Court. Also full laundry and kitchen with all linen provided.
The King Valley Kiln is now an historic building, still on its original working site. It is a transformed Tobacco Kiln with an upper level bedroom offering great views of the surrounding hills and Power's Lookout. Our happy Black Angus cattle grazing in the paddocks can be seen from a Queen sized antique brass bed through French windows that open up onto a balcony giving you that 'Room with a View' feel.
It has been described by our guests as cute, quaint, quirky, and very different.
