The story of GMI Electrical began when the founder felt something was missing from a traditional electrician service. He set up GMI Electrical to provide a bespoke electrical contracting service that always put the client first. From a smart appearance to taking cleanliness seriously. However, more than this, he wanted to build a business that really listens to the customer’s needs.

Going beyond ‘getting the job done’, the teams focus for the business is always to create something special for the client. GMI Electrical take time to really get to know each client and what they want to achieve. GMI Electrical can then offer advice with the best options available. Ways for the client to not only get the results they are looking for but making it better than they imagined. It is this bespoke service that sets GMI Electrical apart from the competition.

Due to the unique approach and the quality of workmanship offered, our client base has quickly grown, and it was soon time to expand the business. GMI Electrical has transitioned from a home office to larger base with its own stores whilst building up a team of highly trained specialists to take on bigger, more complex projects.

From housing authorities to schools, retailers, building contractors and leisure companies, we have been thrilled to work on so many exciting projects. A testament to our work is that we have many regular clients who continue to work with us as our businesses and relationships grow together.
