1. Old Digha Beach is by far the most popular and crowded beach in the town. The beach is not as wide as it used to be, so the action now has moved eastwards where the beach is relatively wide. There are big stone seats for tourists to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Old Digha Beach is best for enjoying the sunrise and sunset. The beach is clean and enjoyable during low tide. The beach has huge numbers of food joints, seafood stalls and stores selling cashews at affordable rates. You can buy souvenirs for from the many shops selling them, especially made from sea shells.
2. New Digha Beach is an extension of the Old Digha Beach located at about 2 km away and is also quite popular. New Digha is relatively newly developed and more planned. The beach is preferred by vacationers owing to its easy accessibility, vastness and lesser crowd density. The sea is about a km away during low tide, from the beginning of the beach area which is lined with 'jhou bon' or the Casuarina trees. You will find lot of stalls on the beach selling sea food and coconut water and other snacks. Take a long walk on the soft sands on the shore with your family & friends while enjoying the sunset.
3. Udaipur Beach This beach in Digha is one of the most unspoiled and beautiful sea beaches in India. Located on the border of Orissa, Udaipur Beach lies between New Digha and Talsari. The beach is speckled with tall casuarina trees and offers a number of decent accommodation options at affordable budgets. Since the place is mostly uninhabited, you would get a feeling of relaxing on a private beach. A perfect romantic getaway which is unblemished, you must visit this place at least once in your lifetime. If you want to get your adrenaline pumping, indulge in a number of beach sports like speedboat, all-terrain bike, banana boat, and bike rides.
