Introduction
This rough-around-the-edges burger-joint has been Austin owned and operated since its inception. Order at the counter, just like in the days of old. Those with droopy eyes and pounding heads opt for a greasy, hangover-fixin' breakfast of fried eggs, hash browns and salty sausage. Pancakes, cheesy omelettes and breakfast tacos are some other early morning favorites. Then there's the basics: Burgers, fries and thinly sliced onion rings, all washed down with thick chocolate shakes. Dan's and the South Congress Fran's used to be one and the same--used to be.
