Introduction
Chitwan National Park which covered some 932 sq km is one of the best managed national park of Nepal. Chitwan national park was established in 1973 as the first national park of the country and since 1984, it is the world natural heritage site. Chitwan National Park is located in the southern plain of Nepal at an altitude from 100m to 815m.above sea level. Chitwan has tropical weather with high humidity round the year. National park is covered by Himalayan subtropical broadleaf forest along with other trees such as chir pine, rosewood, axlewood, Elephant apple etc. Chitwan National park has the varied level of vegetation with rich fauna. It is one of the best habitat of tiger Royal Bengal Tiger, other animals are leopards, sloth bears, rhinoceros, elephant, Gaur and other many. Large numbers of birds, butterfly, moth, insects make this park the most beautiful to explore and enjoy.
