Introduction
Chicchi is a family owned, independent trendy Food, Coffee and Art lounge *. Established since 2005 Chicchi is situated at the heart of the busy Roman Road Market. It has many loyal customers and is very popular among the locals. It is an ideal place for meeting up with friends and family and relaxing over a cup of 'real' Italian coffee, for a quick bite during your lunch break or even for an early evening meal accompanied with a glass of wine. At Chicchi you can view or even purchase art from local, national even international artist's or if you are a budding artist you can even exhibit your own art.
Here you can sit back, relax and soak in the 'Italian' atmosphere, complimented by the art, the mellow background music and freshly prepared food and drink.
In the summer of 2008 the owner, Mr Esen launched the new out side catering menu for our corporate and private clients, which has grown from strength to strength and since 2009 he has been working closely with Tower Hamlets Council to promote healthier eating. A lot of new ingredients and flavours have been introduced to achieve this and we are constantly reviewing our menu. We produce fresh, nutricious and healthy food and due to this Chicchi has now been awarded the "Food for Health Gold Award" by Tower Hamlets Council. Additionally, in 2009 we were nominated in the top 10 "Love London Restaurant Awards" in association with ITV London, Smooth FM and The Independent.
Deciding what to order is an exciting journey and on the menu you will find a vast selection of food and drinks. Such as made to order Salads, Pastas, Sandwiches (all served in freshly baked Italian breads), Pizza sandwiches, Oven Baked Jacket Potato, Desserts, home made Fruit Smoothies, Coffee and a selection of world wide teas or why not chill over a glass of cold Italian beer or wine.
