Bahārāt

Bahārāt is situated on the High Road, South Woodford, opposite Woodford Jaguar and Odeon Cinema where it has previously been an Indian restaurant for over 30years. We originally opened the restaurant back in 1979 as 'Rose of India', giving it a contemporary facelift in 1999 and renaming it 'The Rose'. Our passion for food has spread right across London over the years with restaurants spreading from Richmond, Surrey, through Central London to the outskirts of East London within the group. This includes the famous Chambeli of Russell Square (www.chambeli.com). With the introduction of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine to the group in 2005, we've taken the finest flavours of Indian cuisine and put them alongside selective flavours of the Mediterranean to get a myriad of spices, flavours and textures. Our food is prepared by highly trained chefs with experience from the Hotel Oberoi, Taj Mumbai, India and Efes Hotel, Izmir, Turkey.
