Introduction
The Liakris family are pleased to welcome you to our award winning restaurant. Originally a Co-op, for the last sixteen years Amici has continued to provide a service to local people and those from further a field by offering quality food in an inviting and relaxing environment.
In November 2001 we bought the restaurant from the original owner and brought our own unique touch to the taste and appearance of the food we are proud to serve.
The word ‘Amici’ is Italian for ‘Friends’ and we work hard to develop lasting friendships which continue over the years. Several of our clients have been regulars at the restaurant for over ten years and continue to dine with us regularly.
Our chefs are talented and continuously seek to improve the range of meals available.
Our Executive Chef is Thanos Liakris and his passion is the creation and presentation of new and exciting dishes. Mama Lula’s years of experience in making and serving homely cooked food in Greece, Germany and England ensures that Amici continues to exceed its diner’s expectations.
New for 2012 is our new style menu which will be updated regularly and will contain news of special events and other exciting occasions. We hope you enjoy your visit and dining experience.
