Christina Marino is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She is a California Board License Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. She holds a doctor’s degree from the Oregon College of Oriental medicine, and received her master’s from Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese medicine in Santa Monica. There she earned top honors and received numerous accolades. She is also nationally certified by the NCCAOM as a Diplomat of Acupuncture. In addition to her specialty in Chinese medicine she is also a skilled classical homeopath & nutritionist.

About Christina Marino
Christina Marino has dedicated her life to understanding and applying the kinds of natural healing techniques perfected only by an expert few. Those lucky enough to receive treatment at Alternative Health Care Concepts remark that Christina's treatments are highly effective right away and, better yet, the health benefits stay with them over time. And it's no wonder. With certification and training far beyond the norm, Christina Marino has made it her life's goal to surpass standard natural healing techniques to provide her patients with a level of care and expertise that goes straight to the heart of what ails you.
A vegetarian for over 20 years, Christina early interest in dietary and nutritional therapies led her to pursue studies in the Oriental Healing Arts of Chinese herbal medicine and Acupuncture. Licensed by the State Acupuncture Committee and with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from OCOM. She also carries a "Diplomate of Acupuncture" from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists. Christina received her Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College of Traditional Medicine in Santa Monica. She further enhanced her skills as a practitioner by completing a three and a half year program of study under the top Homeopath Doctors in the country at Hahneman's College of Homeopathy. From there, Christina moved on to a three year Shamanic program through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies to learn from the well known Michael Hamer and Alicia Gates, then trained with indigenous shamans in the Peruvian Amazon.
Deeply interested in serving others as a conduit for healing, Christina honed her skills under the guidance of the top medical intuitives in the country, Carolyn Myss and Norm Shealy MD. She attained certificates in energy healing and testing with Donna Eden, and Advanced Spirit Releasement Therapy with Betsy Bergstom and Judith Baldwin, becoming involved in bio-energetics medicine and treating patients at the Jeffrey Goodman Clinic and Turnabout Detox Clinic. "Miracle Healer Of Mankind," requesting enlightenment and healing for her patients.
In private practice since 1994, Christina previously served as a member of Vie Magazine's Health Advisory Board, authoring numerous articles and lecturing frequently on Chinese Medicine & Alternative Therapies. She also appeared on NBC "Extra" as a featured guest in the daily program "Good Medicine".
