Introduction
Launching the December power video airing on LongIslandNEWS.info's NEWS Page, from the 19th through the 31st is Alaine's full-service American restaurant featuring Alaine Giuliani, Massapequa's restaurateur. Speaking on camera about growing up in Massapequa and her culinary studies abroad, Alaine is the proud yet humble proprietor of the five- star amenity restaurant, Alaine's, at 27 Carmans Road in Massapequa at the corner of East Hemlock, adjacent to the mall.
The overall artful and innovative cuisine provided at Alaine's is delivered in an eco-friendly, 'see and be seenâ? indoor/outdoor restaurant. Whether you are seeking a casual luncheon fare, impressive dining or palatable cocktails, experience the ultimate in local, culinary sensations.
When you meet Alaine, take special notice of her vibrant, eager-to-please personality to understand how she created a climate of culinary aficionados and food lovers!
Born from Drs. Roger and Karen Giuliani, the Massapequa dentist and psychiatric nurse practitioner (respectively) she is a life-long resident. One of three siblings (Michael in dentistry and Eric in law enforcement), Alaine completes the varied family businesses with mastering the culinary arts. Prior to graduating from Our Lady of Mercy, Alaine attended Birch Lane Elementary School and Berner Middle School.
Alaine took her Massapequa up-bringing, noted for having the highest population and percentage of Italians on Long Island, abroad and studied throughout Europe. What she brought back to the Greater Massapequas now assists her in creating a European-influenced warm, hospitable and exceptional culture at Alaine's for the elite, the working class and every bourgeois in between.
The front staff at Alaine's (Allison, Jaclyn and Nicole) styles a retro-looking and patriotic-influenced uniform, reminiscent of a Top Gun 1986 flight suit.
When asked about her culinary arts passion, Alaine recalled childhood memories of watching her mother and aunt in the kitchen. She said, 'Cooking is not just about cuisine, it's about family, friends and community.â? Also, 'Being here at Alaine's is like spending time with people you genuinely like at a home away from home.â?
