Simply Seafood is a specialist seafood restaurant hidden away in the historic fishing port of Old Leigh, famous for its fishing boats and cockle sheds.
Welcome to Simply Seafood, the only seafood restaurant in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. We specialise in high quality fresh fish and excellent seafood. It is our aim to source as much of our fish and shellfish from local boats. London's Billingsgate Market supply an array of our fresh seafood, which is sourced from around the coast of England to ensure the quality and freshness that we demand on a daily basis. Our chefs inspect all produce on delivery and will only accept the produce that meets our high expectations.
Simply Seafood provides simple, classic fresh seafood dishes in an elegant yet comfortable surrounding; which has been converted from an old cockle shed to a beautiful modern restaurant.
We offer two choices of dining experience for our guests. The inside, described by many as being compact and full of ambience. And the terrace, an informal dining atmosphere which is fully covered and heated during the winter months. This restaurant is perfect for those wishing to taste wonderful seafood overlooking the Thames Estuary and able to still see a historic port in action. A unique feature of this restaurant is the availability of small or large dishes on the majority of the menu, enabling the diner to mix and match dishes of their choice with an extensive wine menu. The attention to detail, which is evident throughout the restaurant, is stunning with a beautiful booth for 6 with a crystal chandelier over the table giving a feeling of total intimacy, the exquisite toilets, the superb disabled access and the delightful service has all been a talking point with many a guest.
