Vintage Wardonia 'New-Edge Safety Razor'

This rare Vintage Wardonia 'New-EdgeSafety Razor' was made by Thomas Ward & Sons of Sheffield, England.
We can only guess the year of manufacture as there is no date stamp present. Records show that this style of safety razor from Wardonia were manufactured somewhere between 1920s through to1970s.
However, the company would mostly buy in parts of razors from various suppliers, then would assemble and brand the items themselves, then sell them under the 'Wardonia' brand. This particular razor consists of a brown bakelite handle and bottom plate, and steel top plate.
My guess that this razor was a gift for someone, and has never been used, as any marks on the razor and case, seem to be purely cosmetic, and just an effect of time.

The razor is in fantastic condition, with only a few minor sratches on the top plate. The razor comes in its original Wardonia box which is in excellent condition, opens and closes as it would have new.
The razor comes with an original Wardonia barrell-hole blade, still in its wrapping and never been used.
