This is an absolutely stunning vintage best badger shaving brush. The handle has taken on the warm and rich "butterscotch" colouring that's common among vintage shaving brushes. It will have started out as an Ivory/White, but over time the material darkens in colour to produce the warm and deep colour seen
The handle was originally lathe turned, you can still see the original tool marks.
The knot wasn't in the best of shape, but this has been replaced with a new Best Badger knot by Simpsons.
