This brush has a completely new Best Badger Hair head fitted in England by Simpson / Vulfix.
Not a lot is known about Plastiset other than this from Google: The mark PLASTISET was officially filed as a trademark by RUBBERSET COMPANY, on 1st Jan 1944 and it is unknown if this mark has yet been used in commerce.
All we really know about the age of this brush is that it was made sometime post 1944. The handle and protective sheath / drip stand are in good condition, colour faded but no dents or scratches apart from a small, hairline crack on the shoulder of the brush.

Stamped and colour filled the base reads 'PLASTISET, STERALIZED, MADE IN USA.
How to Use
Use a couple of drops of warm water with a shaving cream or soap to create a rich lather.
Once finished, rinse the brush with warm water, flicking excess out and store on the stand, upside down, to ensure the knot stays in place.
