Vintage Gillette Fatboy F1 1960 Safety Razor

The Fatboy is one of the most sought after vintage razors. This particular Fatboy is its original, non-restored condition.
Stamped 'MADE IN USA F1 Reg US PAT OFF'. F1 is coding, F tells us the razor was made in 1960 and 1 means the razor was made in the first quarter of that year.
The adjustment mechanism clicks reassuringly into place once tightened. The TTO doors open and close and safely secure the blade, there is a slight hesitancy on one door when closing but when tightened the razor is good to go. The adustment numbers are nice and black and the red coloured indicator slot is red. This razor is 100% shave ready.

How to Use
Shave in short strokes and a light touch, twice with the grain and once against the grain.
