This is a rare 1968 Gillette Slim Safety Razor that has been stripped down, replated and polished.
It was a Gillette Slim Adjustable Safety Razor that was used by James Bond in the 1964 movie Goldfinger.
The Slim is an adjustable safety razor with settings 1 - 9 so you get the shave you want - non aggressive - to aggressive every time.
This razor has been expertly restored and replated in shiny nickel during August 2015.
The head has some tiny, almost invisible indents, they will not affect the quality of the shave but they're worth mentioning.
This razor has been sonically cleaned, it is 100% shave ready, we do however recommend you wash it before use in warm, soapy water.

Stamped 'MADE IN USA' 'N 2' 'Reg US PAT OFF'. 'N2' is coding, N tells us the razor was made in 1968 and 2 means the razor was made in the second quarter of that year.
This razor works perfectly, the adjustment mechanism clicks reassuringly into place, the Twist to Open (TTO) doors open and close exactly as they should.
How to Use
Insert a sharp blade into the razor, then simply twist the handle to 1 of its 9 predetermined settings. You can change the angle of the blade inside the razor head for exactly the shave you want.
After applying a pre shave treatment and your shaving soap cream or gel to your face, dip the safety razor into warm water and begin to shave with the razor at around a 30° angle to your face. We recommend that you shave twice with the grain and once against the grain.
Be sure to regularly rinse the blade in warm water between passes.
