Vintage 1921-1928 Gillette Shawmut Safety Razor

The extremely rare, Gillette Shawmut Safety Razor, manufactured between 1921 and 1928 is a prime example of just one of the hard to find vintage razors on offer from Executive Shaving.
The Shawmut consists of an open combed, gold plated, ball ended Gillette Tech type Safety Razor, with an ornate metal case for blades and a linen covered metal case to house them all together.

PRODUCT DETAILS
Considering this razor was manufactured at least 86 years ago, this razor is in truly amazing condition. The box however has not fared as well. The lid still opens and closes as it should, but unfortunately the colour has very much faded, and a little of the material that originally bound the box has worn away.
The razor is in excellent condition, but for two almost invisible hairline stress cracks on the handle. These cracks are almost expected on vintage Gillette's with hollow handles.
The razor head is shiny and bright, with only a little scratching on the underside of the bottom plate. The bottom plate is stamped with the Gillette Diamond logo, and 'Made in USA'.
Inside the purple velvet with Gillette branding has also faded. This should not take too much away from the quality of the set.
