The company Revisor was founded in 1919 in Solingen, Germany.
The tang is stamped 'Revisor Solingen' and on the flip side the Revisor Cat in a Tree logo and 'C. Friedr Schmidt Solingen'. The shiny black scales are inlaid with a crown emblem and the word Solingen in real silver.

Scales Material: Shiny black celluloide inlaid with real silver
The blade has a polished mirror type finish. The blade benefits from a stunning 24k gold etch wash featuring the words 'Revisor Extra', a coat of arms inlaid in blue with floral decorations. The floral theme is continued on the spine of the razor with blue inlaid, deeply etched engraving.
The razor will come to you in a handmade leather pouch with a stud fastener.
HOW TO USE
Ensure the razor is shave ready, strop beforehand if required.
Lubricate the bearded area with lather from a good quality shaving soap or cream, for best results use a shaving brush.
For a close shave, we recommend that you shave twice with the grain and once against the grain.
We strongly recommend you watch some tutorial cut throat YouTube videos BEFORE your first shave.
You only need to apply minimal pressure, let the razor do the work.
