The company Revisor was founded in 1919 in Solingen, Germany. To this day, Revisor razors still carry the Solingen trademark. This trademark confirms in German law that the name Solingen may only be used when the item was processed and finished in all major stages of manufacturing in the Solingen industrial area. In other words, German made, quality assured.

Blade width: 5/8 of an inch (small size)
Blade Material: Carbon, C-Steel
Type of Grind: Full Hollow
Scales Material: Shiny black celluloide
The blade has a polished mirror finish, with 24k gold plating with the words 'Solingen Extra'. The black celluloide scales are inlaid with the Revisor logo in silver. The tang is stamped REVISOR and on the flip side C. Friedr. Schmidt (the name of the founder of the company) Solingen and their trademark cat in a tree logo.
The razor will come to you in a handmade leather pouch with a stud fastener.
HOW TO USE
This is a brand new razor. The razor has been stropped and tested before it left the workshop, it comes to you shave ready.
Ensure the razor is shave ready, strop beforehand if required.
Lubricate the bearded area with lather from a good quality shaving soap or cream, for best results use a shaving brush.
For a close shave, we recommend that you shave twice with the grain and once against the grain.
We strongly recommend you watch some tutorial cut throat YouTube videos BEFORE your first shave.
You only need to apply minimal pressure, let the razor do the work.
