This is a 2-in-1 combination honing stone. On one side is a fine 8000 grit stone, flip it over and the other side is a 4000 grit stone. Ideal sharpening system for precision woodworking tools, fine cutlery, and straight razors.

This Waterstone now includes a Mini Sharpening Station which serves as both a firm base to hold the hone while in use and a secure storage box to protect your waterstone when not in use.

This 3" Extra Wide stone is the best choice for larger or wider items such as block plane blades and chisels. They're also easier to clean than oilstones and they won't leave an oil residue on your tools.
The 4000/8000 Combination Grit stone will both maintain and refine a basic working edge, and apply the polished razor-sharp finished edge.
HOW TO USE
Norton Waterstones use water for a lubricant and flushing agent.
A brand new or a restored cut throat razor supplied by Executive Shaving should not need stropped/honed for at least 9 months. However, please read up on stropping in our Shavepedia.
