Handmade leather Strop made by Mountain Mike of Mile-High, Idlewild, California USA - at 21'' long x 3" wide (54cm x 7.5cm) this is a serious bit of kit!
In fact, it is actually two strops joined together. One side is made from Prime Quality Black Latigo Leather, the other side from fabric webbing. Latigo leather has been treated with waxes and oils, this helps the stropping process by slowing down the action on the strop and as the leather has traces of wax in it, it's less prone to water absorption and therefore shape distortion.

The strop has a swivel clasp allowing you to clip onto a hook or to a round clasp, the other end has two D rings to give you a firm, comfortable grip while stropping.
HOW TO USE
Stropping is required to maintain the razor's edge in a shave-ready condition.
Correct stropping should maintain the razors edge for around 5 to 9 shaves.
Between 40 and 60 stropping laps are needed to properly strop a cutthroat razor.
Poor stropping technique will dull the razors edge, we strongly advise you to watch a few videos and read up on stropping techniques online before you start honing your razor.
