The Dr. Dittmar Hanging Strop is made from premium Russian leather and is used for daily stropping prior to shaving to align the microscopic teeth and give a fine edge to the blade.
The Dr. Dittmar strop should be used with non abrasive strop paste (yellow band). The paste maintains the quality of the leather and prevents the leather from drying out.

This leather strop has a swivel hoop allowing you to clip onto a hook or to a round clasp.
HOW TO USE
We strongly advise you to watch a few videos and read up on stropping techniques online before you start honing your razor.
A brand new or a restored cut throat razor supplied by Executive Shaving should not need stropped/honed for at least 9 months. However, please read up on stropping in our Shavepedia.
