Frank Pedeflous
President
Frank Pedeflous’ company is a perfect reflection of him – smart, friendly, responsive, creative, detail-oriented and absolutely committed to doing his best for his clients. He offers a balance of an engineer’s mind for innovation and making things work and a comfortable, relationship-oriented nature.
His path to owning and leading Omegasonics started at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) where he graduated in 1981 with a degree in electrical engineering. For 15 years he used his talents as a sales engineer, first at Reliance Electric then selling Allan-Bradley factory automation products to companies in the entertainment, printing, food and beverage, sand and gravel, and petrochemical industries, including Anheuser-Busch, Universal Studios and Disney.
In 1996, Frank felt the pull to be his own boss and saw an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. He purchased a company that used ultrasonic technology to clean window blinds, but he had much more in mind for the technology. As Frank tells it, everyone thought he was crazy going from high-level industrial sales into blind cleaning. But he knew ultrasonic was the cleaning technology of the future and that there was a large potential industrial market waiting to gain access to it. Turns out he was right.
