This is how a high pressure waterblast / jetblast works in clearing and cleaning your pipe.
This footage shows you a high pressure jetblaster in action, this is the tool that we use in order to clear tree roots from pipes, clear blocked drains, blocked pipes, blocked sewers and any pipe that is blocked. The footage shows that this equipment does not damage the pipe as the jetter head rests on the host pipe and the water pushing out of the head is angled therfore moving the debris / tree roots out of the pipe.
