Sushi Taisho is located upstairs in the Village Faire Shopping Center in the heart of Carlsbad Village. Since 1989, Taisho has proudly provided great food and excellent customer service.

Sushi Taisho is a Japanese restaurant fused with the beach culture and lifestyle, which promotes a fun environment and atmosphere. From our outdoor patio, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful view and nightly entertainment provided just downstairs. Inside, you can sit at our always-entertaining sushi bar and check out our cool décor of surfboards and skate, surf and concert photographs; or you can sit at a table and have a view of the Coaster station and the tree-lined Carlsbad skyline. Sushi Taisho offers traditional Japanese cuisine with a twist. Our menu includes choices from sushi and sashimi to teriyaki chicken, beef, salmon or tempura dishes.
