My first experiences with photography was back in 2004, wielding an old Canon loaded with prehistoric film. I immensely enjoyed developing my own photos and seeing them come to life in front of my eyes. Then in 2011, I was given a Canon digital camera and a whole world of possibilities opened up to me.
Fast forward to now and I am a freelance photographer based in Crewe. However I am available to hire for freelance photography anywhere in the North West area. I have interests in many areas of photography ranging from portraiture with people and animals to architecture and macro photography, but they are mostly carried out in the same way. I usually like to make a plan of what I want to achieve with a project and think about what message I want my photo to portray and the set up of the scene to make this happen, such as lighting, background and angle as these can dramatically alter the final result. I also enjoy using Photoshop to make the impossible possible. But, also if I deviate from the plan it can result in unexpected but fantastic images so I try to be flexible with any plan I make. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, which can be a curse at times, but usually means I am very satisfied with the end result.
I am available for hire in the Northwest area (UK). Ideas for the kind of freelance photographer work I offer, personal or business:
