Piano lessons not only consist of taking one-to-one instrumental lessons. Students also need to be stimulated so they can gain perspective and socialize around music. Music is a language, and as such, it needs to be exercised.
WKMT organizes monthly concerts at superlative London venues. These concerts are meant to provide the perfect platform for prospective musicians to get to know each other, start discussions about music and trigger passionate arguments about their fellow performers. To support their opinions, students will have to use those concepts learned in their lessons.
Even though this stimulation might sound complete enough, the truth is it wouldn't be so without the students performing themselves in front of an audience. It is with this objective that WKMT organizes one of London's most spectacular piano student festivals. The venue: the gorgeous Pushkin House in Fitzrovia London. This magnificent building was the house of the 4th Earl of Southhampton in central London. During this events, parents and adult students are greeted in the marble hall where they can enjoy a fully catered elegant cocktail party. In the meantime, the performers can start warming up upstairs to play later using the gorgeous Steinway Grand.
Most of WKMT events are recorded professionally using three high definition cameras
