This pizzeria was close to our hotel and we decided to buy some pizza to take away on late Sunday evening. We came there 10:45 pm (15 minutes before closure), and we were probably the last customers in the pizzeria.

The pizzeria looked really nice and we were met by seemingly kind bald spectacled Italian who agreed to make two last pizzas for us. For our surprise we had to wait only five minutes and we were given the pizzas neatly packed in pizza boxes inside a bag (as it turned out, it was well though out). We thanked for efficiency and wished him a good evening - he responded with nice words as well.

We decided to have a last walk around the centre of Amsterdam and therefore left pizzas in our hotel (yes, we do enjoy eating cold pizza). After about an hour we came back and opened the boxes for the first time (for our misfortune we didn't look at pizzas at the pizzeria). We we shocked.

The first pizza had all the ingredients listed in the menu but was of 15 - 20 cm in diameter (I remember well that I asked about the size of their pizzas and he pointed to the standard pizza plate, around 35 cm in diameter).

The second pizza was supposed to be a kind of American hardcore pizza with four or five different kinds of meat and other ingredients. It was not. The pizza was of the same diameter (15 - 20 cm) and had three pieces of salami and three thin pieces of ham on it.

We understood that we were deceived. Moreover, we noted that pizzas were not baked, but warmed up (I was pizza baker for some time and it's not difficult to distinguish between newly baked and warmed up pizzas). Thus, we were given pizzas for kids that for some reason were not consumed during the day. We also understood that we were deceived quite professionally. Right when we went out of the pizzeria, he closed it. We left Amsterdam next day early in the morning and we could not visit the shitty place again.

We paid 20 euro and ordered the richest (in terms of ingredients) pizzas and though we will have a good bite - unfortunately it didn't happen. Money and pizzas is not the problem, however. The problem is that he spoiled our good mood that we had throughout our stay in Amsterdam.

The pizza baker did that in a cold-blood way with a gentle smile - you couldn’t even think that he could place that shit in the boxes while wishing you a good meal.

If you see this, pizza baker, hope that this dirty work (I suspect we are not the first ones to be deceived) will cost you a number of lost clients - I will post this kind of information on every webpage I can so that as many people as possible avoid your nasty dump.
