Oriental Express Chinese Buffet Restaurant

An inexpensive buffet offering bigger selection of dishes compared to Stir Fry's down the road.

Given what you pay, you can't expect the best food but it is good value for money though.

The food was great have nice.IT WAS PERFECT

Please don't be attempted by the all you can eat buffet. It's just tepid food that isn't that great but not that bad. It's pretty much a meh from me. There are much better buffets than this!

I am writing to complain about my dining experience at the Oriental Express Restaurant yesterday where I attended with a delegation of 5 people. I frequent the Oriental Express Restaurant, normally with a delegation of between 4-6 people, usually visitors from abroad. We got to the Oriental Express Restaurant at about 4:50pm to partake in your buffet. Sadly when we went to the tables most of the food was finished, and those that remained were iced cold. When I complained the waiter lit the candles under the containers in the hope that the food will get hot again, it didn't. We enquired about further dishes but just a few was brought and these too were not to the standards that we are normally used to at the Oriental Express Restaurant. As for me I am a vegetarian and there was nothing much for me!

I urge you to investigate this matter so that an explanation can be provided. If the food was finished surely we should have been advised. There were quite a few disgruntled other customers as well.

They offer fairly good price, which attracts a lot of customers. What I dont understand is how come the food doesnt taste fresh when lots of customers should mean food turnover is high so the food should stay fresh?

There is another buffet just down the road, which is better in this respect.
