Five Corners Bistro

We are a family run restaurant located in up-town White Rock. The Clinker family are the owners/operators of the Bistro. A musical flavour is evident from the moment you arrive at the restaurant. The menu, which is displayed in the window on an antique music stand, lures diners with promises of fresh West Coast fare, which it delivers.

The cozy candlelit room has a casual yet classy feel, and is decorated in regal purple and gold tones. French, modern romantic and Jazzy tunes fill the air and posters from European operatic events serve as the feature decor. The memorabilia is also a tribute to the internationally acclaimed operatic tenor (and White Rock native) Lance Ryan, the only member of his immediate family missing out on the daily action at Five Corners.

Like the atmosphere, the food isn't intimidating. Chef Paul tries to cook with as many local ingredients as possible while keeping the prices low and the quality high. As Pavarotti once said "I want to bring people good music and make them happy." The Clinkers have the same mantra, but they do it with food, too.
