Introduction

The building started life as the All Saints Queensbury Church and after the completion of a new church nearby the building was taken over as the headquarters of the 1st/6th Edgware Scout Group, which has been providing Scouting & Guiding in the Edgware area for over 100 years. During 2004 the building was completely refurbished and now has a large activity/event hall seating 150 people, with a large kitchen; a smaller first floor educational/meeting/club/training room holding around 30-40 people with a kitchenette and toilet;a small first floor meeting/training room holding around 25-30 people and a purpose built pre-school/nursery suite. The building is wi-fi enabled and has wired LAN that can be made available to club/educational hirers.
The Scout Centre is located in a quiet residential area of Edgware, Middlesex close to the A5 Edgware Road and is easily accessable from the M1, public transport is available nearby, with bus services and 3 tube stations. The building is suitable for a wide variety of activites and events and 90% of the building is accessable to wheelchair users.
